When I first showed up to the Korakia Pensione the morning of Kristen & Adam’s wedding, Adam was swimming in the pool with his family (in his tuxedo speedo!) and his first words to me sum up just how awesome this couple is. He said something to the effect of…”I just want this to be the slowest day of my life. I want to take in every detail and enjoy every single moment!”  I’ve been looking forward to this wedding every since we connected for their Malibu Engagement Session early this Spring! Kristen  & Adam got married at one of my most favorite venues in Palm Springs, the Korakia Pensione. There is so much depth and beauty to this sexy Mediterranean boutique hotel which fit these two perfectly.  This was such a fun wedding to photograph for many reasons…an adorable couple completely in love, gorgeous details, and being surrounded by such kind and gracious family & friends! Congratulations, Kristen & Adam! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful love story…what an honor!! xox

I think it might have taken a few weeks for me to come down off the high I had after shooting Arti & Raj’s gorgeous wedding. I had never met these two beautiful Canadians before we arrived in Palm Springs for their week of festivities. They live in Calgary Alberta, Canada, and chose to have a destination wedding in Palm Springs, California.  It was truly SPECTACULAR…so layered with beauty, traditions and such loving people. I felt so welcomed and honored to be a small part of this incredible celebration. Thank you Arti & Raj and your wonderful families!! Location, location, location!! Sometimes we as photographers stumble upon locations that completely inspire, move and stretch our creativity. This usually happens for me on destination weddings where the architecture, light and textures are so different from our typical American backdrop.  I have had the opportunity to do so much traveling and see so many beautiful locations that I’ve decided to start sharing some of my favorites. This last year I have had the pleasure of shooting a few of my favorite couples at the Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs, and I AM SMITTEN!!  This little oasis is nestled up against the mountains of Palm Springs, but feels like you have traveled half way around the world and landed at some sexy hotel on the Mediterranean.  Every nook and cranny of this property is rich with texture, imported furniture and SO much charm. If you are planning a destination wedding, a sexy photo shoot, or just want to get away to relax and unwind with your honey…this is the spot! Cari & Jared are the kind of people you feel like you’ve known forever even when you first meet them!  I have been so excited for their Palm Springs wedding ever since their engagement shoot earlier this year in Laguna Beach. Not only are these two absolutely stinkin’ adorable, but they are head-over-heels crazy about about each other, which just happens to make my job super easy!! Their beautiful wedding was at the Korakia Pensione, which feels like a little slice of the Mediterranean right in the middle of Palm Desert. It was pretty much the perfect day with amazing family and friends, gorgeous Palm Springs sunshine and incredible details! Cari & Jared, you guys are the best!! Thanks for letting me be a part of this special day!!

I had so much fun with Cari and Jared during their Laguna Beach engagement session!  I’m running out of words to describe my engagement shoots, but I always leave them so full and excited about my clients! It’s such a great way for us to just get to know each other, and for me as an artist to develop that relationship of trust; to be allowed into the most intimate moments of my client’s lives! These two are just beautiful, fun loving and down to earth. I am so super excited for their Palm Springs wedding at the AMAZING Korakia Pensione Hotel. The Korakia Pensione has been named one of the sexiest hotels in America, making it a perfect match for these two!
