This wedding season has been so AMAZING thanks largely to incredible couples like Mariana & Chris. From our first meeting with Mariana and her twin, I mean mother, I fell in love with this family!! Then I met Chris when we spent the afternoon together for their Los Angeles engagement shoot, and I knew I was in for a fantastic wedding day!! These two have such an incredibly sweet connection with each other that happens to make my job super easy. Mariana & Chris had a beautiful Greek Orthodox ceremony at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, followed by a gorgeous reception at the California Club in Downtown Los Angeles. It was elegant, sophisticated and SO MUCH FUN!  Thank you Mariana and Chris for allowing me to play a very small part in such an amazing day! xox

My very first meeting with Hope was over a nice glass of red wine together via Skype, Hope in Australia and me here in the States. From the first time we chatted thousands of miles apart, I knew this wedding was going to be special. Hope & Nick had a beautiful ceremony at Saint Martin Catholic Church in Brentwood, California followed by an elegant, super fun reception at Casa del Mar in Santa Monica.  They were surrounded by such incredible family and friends many who had traveled from Australia to support this beautiful couple. I loved how close they were with their families…Hope’s sister walked her down the aisle. And she carried her father’s rosary to keep him close. Hope & Nick, thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day!  I can’t wait to come to Australia…and maybe photograph a little Aussie baby:)

Sometimes I have clients who live their life in the public eye and want to keep their wedding images private.  With high profile clients I am grateful when I can at least share some of the beautiful details of their wedding. This lovely couple, who will remain anonymous, flew in from New York City for an intimate affair among just family & close friends at the famous Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood. It was an amazing day filled with love, laughter, incredible music and beautiful Jewish traditions, as these two committed their lives to each other. Here’s a few of my favorites…that I can share:)

I had so much fun spending the day with Mariana & Chris. What I love most about these two is how much they adore each other. They were so sweet and affectionate together…it was almost as if I wasn’t even there. That’s when the magic happens. Mariana also just happens to have the most incredible, infectious smile! I actually found myself smiling going through their images. Here’s a little sneak of our recent Los Angeles engagement. I’m so excited for their upcoming Summer wedding at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral. One thing I know for sure…there’ll be plenty of love and laughter to go around!

I love the chicks over at Wedding Chicks! They have such a fun blog to find great inspiration for all things wedding. Michelle and Jon are the kind of couple you meet and smile because they fit together so brilliantly. They had such a beautiful outdoor wedding at the  gorgeous Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. Michelle’s dad twirled her as he escorted her down the aisle, while Jon fought back his tears.  That pretty much sums up the tone of the entire day…so many sweet moments surrounded by a lot of fun! Congratulations Michelle & Jon, I’m honored to have been a part of such an amazing day!

I also want to thank my talented friend, Jill LaFleur of LaFleur Weddings for doing such a spectacular job planning & coordinating this wonderful event. It’s always a pleasure to work with you, and watch you do your magic! I also want to thank wedding filmmaker Joel Serrato of Joel Serrato Films for doing such an AMAZING job documenting this day!
