It was such good times hanging out with Megan & Travis for their recent Los Angeles engagement session. These two are so cute together, and Travis is seriously one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. He had me cracking up pretty much the entire shoot. I’m really looking forward to their Orange County wedding at The Hacienda. I know it’s going to be such a fun day!

The weather is usually near perfect on the California Coast, so I’m always super excited when I get the call for a Malibu wedding! It only gets better when I find out I’m working with a couple like Amber & Rufus. I had a great time shooting this beautiful family…check out their three “babies” below…they are the CUTEST! I’m absolutely convinced that we’re in for a VERY special day at their upcoming wedding at the Malibu Estate, Xanadu, overlooking the gorgeous Pacific! Can’t wait to share more….

Sharon & David pretty much sum up the reason I LOVE my job! From our first meeting until the final petal toss, I just loved being around these two!! They are such fun, incredibly sweet people, and I just adore them. It has been a year of extraordinary celebrations leading up to their Los Angeles wedding! It was the perfect blend of tradition, incredible family & friends, style and SO MUCH FUN!!! Congratulations, Sharon & David!! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a FABULOUS day!! I’m pretty sure David is tired of me saying, “I REALLY love these two!!” every single time he walks by, while I’m working on Mitzi & Darwin’s wedding images. I have so enjoyed getting to know Mitzi & Darwin over the last year. They are both super kind, creative, funny and absolutely perfect for each other. Most importantly, they completely adore each other, which has made my time with them during their Los Angeles engagement shoot & wedding so easy and fun! Their wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful & historic St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church, and then we were off to Marina Del Rey for some SERIOUS celebration!! It was an incredibly gorgeous day, and such an honor for me to be a part of it! Congratulations, Mitzi & Darwin!!

2009 was an amazing year!! Like everyone’s year (and life in general), I had my ups & downs, but the constant bright spot was all of the TRULY incredible people, from all over the world, I had the privilege to meet & work with. While there are literally hundreds of images I wish I could post, I just finally finished my most difficult task so far this year- narrowing down my list of favorite wedding images from 2009. I can’t begin to tell you how hard it was to choose! I am just so grateful for all of my amazing clients! Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of telling your beautiful stories. Julie & Aaron’s Santa Monica wedding at The Victorian was sooo beautiful! It was a day full of love, laughter and incredible family & friends. These two are such sweet, caring and super intelligent people…just check out their cake, which was an abstract mathematical formula design! Every last detail was such a beautiful reflection who they are; from the recycled yarmulkes to Julie’s vintage dress to her grandmother’s GORGEOUS jewelry. Thanks, Julie & Aaron, for allowing me to be part of such a special day! I hope you have an amazing time on your honeymoon!

My first conversations with Karnis & Alex involved their concepts for an “un-engagement shoot” with ideas about re-creating scenes from movies and famous paintings. I knew after this first meeting that I LOVED these two, and after our Los Angeles engagement shoot, I loved them even more!! So it was really no surprise when I arrived the morning of their wedding and Alex had blow-up toys to incorporate as props. Karnis & Alex are incredibly creative, super fun, so sweet and absolutely perfect for each other. Their beautiful wedding at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks was an amazing day and so much fun to be a part of. It all made for a really fun Slideshow too!! Thanks, Karnis & Alex!
