Chenine and I have been trying to match up our schedules for months, so it was great to fiiiinally connect with her and Joe at the new swanky Avia Hotel in Long Beach. Chenine & Joe are a super sexy, fun couple and the Avia Hotel fit them perfectly! I’m so looking to connecting again for their late summer wedding!
It was such good times hanging out with Megan & Travis for their recent Los Angeles engagement session. These two are so cute together, and Travis is seriously one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. He had me cracking up pretty much the entire shoot. I’m really looking forward to their Orange County wedding at The Hacienda. I know it’s going to be such a fun day!

These last few weeks have been jam-packed with so much travel and shooting that my blog posts are a bit neglected! Now that I’ve landed back home for a couple of days, I’m going to attempt to catch up and I’m excited to share a few pics from my recent Santa Monica engagement shoot. I had so much fun spending some time with Lauren & David at the Santa Monica Pier. Lauren & David are such a sweet couple, and I’m super excited for their upcoming wedding at the Biltmore!

2009 was an amazing year!! Like everyone’s year (and life in general), I had my ups & downs, but the constant bright spot was all of the TRULY incredible people, from all over the world, I had the privilege to meet & work with. While there are literally hundreds of images I wish I could post, I just finally finished my most difficult task so far this year- narrowing down my list of favorite wedding images from 2009. I can’t begin to tell you how hard it was to choose! I am just so grateful for all of my amazing clients! Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of telling your beautiful stories. Mitzi & Darwin are SO ADORABLE; just really kind people! It was really nice to spend a little time with these two and get to know them a little better. Not having done this before, Mitzi & Darwin, like most of my clients, were a little nervous at first, but by the end of the day, they were pros!
