Meet Serena and Rob! These two are incredible…fun, authentic and completely in love! We had such a great afternoon together exploring Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, and the Griffith Observatory.  I’m counting the days til their upcoming wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel…it’s going to be an amazing day!

You almost didn’t notice because it seemed to somehow work right into all of the amazingness, but it actually rained the day of Sandy & JD’s Maui wedding. Thankfully, we had scheduled a “Day After ” shoot, and had plenty of time to get pictures of the two of them. I know a lot of people call this “Trash the Dress,” but I’m just not a big fan of “trashing” the dress.  What it really means is that you put your wedding clothes back on, and have plenty of time to go explore different areas, and that you don’t mind if the bottom of your dress gets a little dirty…aaand you can climb the banks of a lagoon if you want, which we did!!! Here’s a few that made me happy…

I had so much fun with Samantha & John during their Venice Beach Engagement Session! Even though we had an unusually cold day in Los Angeles, they braved the weather and still had fun together. These two are my kind of couple…super into each other and up for just about anything!! I’m so excited for their upcoming Summer wedding at Mountaingate Country Club in beautiful Bel-Air! See you soon Sam & John!

I completely ADORE my little sister, Kristi! She has been there for me for the births of all three of my boys, so I was SO excited when the timing worked out for me to be in Seattle with her for the birth of her third child, Rae Adele. It was such an incredible blessing for me to experience the miracle of life through someone I love so much. Kristi was a champ, and had Rae with no epidural or drugs. My brother-in-law Dustin  is an amazing dad and husband , and  could pretty much write the book,  “How to Support Your Wife Through Labor.”  We were all so emotional during Rae’s entrance into this world…me mostly because I knew the pain Kristi was experiencing and couldn’t help her. But Dustin said afterwards, “it is so beautiful to watch Kristi give her first act of sacrifice as a mother to our baby.”  It was intense and beautiful and quite possible the most precious images I’ve had the opportunity to capture. I really had a fun time with this lovely couple, Irene & Alex, during their Santa Monica engagement shoot at the Viceroy Hotel. They’re still ironing out the timing  and details for their wedding, but I hope to be a part of that special day when it’s confirmed. You can tell these two really adore each other, and have a lot of fun together. And I had a great time being in the midst of that! Thanks, Irene & Alex!

It’s hard for me to even describe how adorably CUTE Heather & Brendan are. David and I flew into Pennsylvania to spend the day with these two for their country engagement shoot, and  we had the most amazing time. They even arranged a midday pit-stop where Brendan’s mom made us a wonderful meal! They were such kind and gracious hosts, and incredibly fun to be around. Here’s a little sneak, but I’ve definitely got more to share from this day! Can’t wait for their August wedding at the AMAZING Cairnwood Mansion!!

It’s been tough keeping up with the Blog while crisscrossing the country for summer weddings! I’m not complaining though! I absolutely LOVE what I do, and love all of my AMAZING clients even more. Chenine and I have been trying to match up our schedules for months, so it was great to fiiiinally connect with her and Joe at the new swanky Avia Hotel in Long Beach. Chenine & Joe are a super sexy, fun couple and the Avia Hotel fit them perfectly! I’m so looking to connecting again for their late summer wedding!
