Julie & Aaron’s Santa Monica wedding at The Victorian was sooo beautiful! It was a day full of love, laughter and incredible family & friends. These two are such sweet, caring and super intelligent people…just check out their cake, which was an abstract mathematical formula design!  Every last detail was such a beautiful reflection who they are; from the recycled yarmulkes to Julie’s vintage dress to her grandmother’s GORGEOUS jewelry. Thanks, Julie & Aaron, for allowing me to be  part of such a special day! I hope you have an amazing time on your honeymoon!

For those of you who don’t believe in fate, meet Tracy & Pathik!  I had already mentioned from their Santa Barbara engagement session that these two met on an airplane, while sitting next to each other.  But come to find out it gets better! During the reception toasts, a friend of Tracy’s said she was planning to set Tracy up with a business colleague of hers, only to discover that Tracy was already dating who she had in mind, Pathik!  I just love that!!  The best thing about the whole thing is these two incredible people are just perfect together! Tracy & Pathik had a beautiful Hindu wedding ceremony at the GORGEOUS Montecito Country Club, overlooking the Pacific in lovely Santa Barbara.  It was a day rich in culture, tradition and lots of love to go around. Congratulations, Tracy & Pathik, and thanks for allowing me to be a part of such an AMAZING day!

A big thanks to their wedding planner, Jill LaFleur, and her amazing team at LaFleur Weddings!  Once again, the day was planned to perfection, and the everything flowed beautifully!!

I know I say this so much, but I really had such a great time shooting Courtney & Andrew’s engagement session.  These two are such incredible free spirits, with fabulous style and an amazing love & connection to one another. I should also mention that Courtney & Andrew are both AMAZING musicians, and I met them last summer at another Malibu wedding where they were performing and I was shooting. I am so looking forward to their Malibu wedding this summer at the gorgeous Adamson House!

I was so thrilled to hear that one of my favoritest couples from last year is having a baby!!  You may remember Danielle & Colin from their INCREDIBLE 2008 Dana Point wedding and  Orange County engagement session.  They once again rocked my socks off, and Danielle worked that baby bump!  I’m so excited to meet little Ms. Logan…stay tuned for her newborn debut!!

Since Kelly first met Lowell in uniform, we thought it would be fun to do some of their Los Angeles engagement session with Lowell suited up in his Marine Corp Blues.  These two are incredible people! Lowell serves our state & nation, and Kelly is an RN who has done some unbelievable volunteer work in third world countries.  Super excited for a fabulous Camarillo Wedding later this summer!!

What an amazing time I had with these two!  Alina & Shawn wanted to do a Laguna Beach engagement shoot because Laguna is one of their hangout spots.  I love shooting in new locations. Orange County in the house! And it’s even better when it’s a super adorable, adventurous couple like Alina & Shawn; down for just about anything. Alina was such a trooper, at one point even rock climbing in her gorgeous heels! I can’t wait for their upcoming Bay Area wedding at a beautiful estate overlooking the Pacific in Half Moon Bay!! Stay tuned…

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Meredith & Jeremy in Chicago for their engagement session.  This was the first time that we met in person, but I felt like I was hanging out with old friends all day. And what a great city!   These two are such kind, radiant people, and as we walked around the streets downtown, it became apparent that I was in the presence of rock stars…they know EVERYONE!  I’m super excited for their Chicago wedding this summer at St. Michael in Old Town.  Thanks, Meredith & Jeremy for such an incredible day!! I can’t wait to see you guys again!!

I owe all of my INCREDIBLE clients, who I’ve photographed over the last few weeks, a huge thank you for your patience!  With so much traveling & shooting, I haven’t had as much time as usual in front of my computer. I’m even using two laptops now to try and keep up!!  So this is just a sneak peek of the adorable Brooke + Nathan from our Nashville engagement shoot a few weeks back.  More to come really really soon!! I’m super duper excited to announce the launch of joah love!!  As a mom of 3 boys, who also loves to shop…I found myself so uninspired  by the clothes that were available for my boys.  Just a year ago, one of my bestest friends, Ahyoung Kim (who just happens to be one of the most INCREDIBLE designers on the planet) and I decided to jump in feet first and do something about that!  We collaborated our passion for children & fashion and now I’m pinching myself as boutiques nationwide (like Planet Blue!) are now carrying joah love’s spring collection for boys and girls!  The heart of this project is our desire to make a difference by giving back to children all over the world who are suffering from extreme poverty and those who are victims of social injustice.  We are partnering up with some incredible organizations to donate a portion of our proceeds to tackle these problems.  So check out the joah love website, and please spread the love to all your friends with babies 6 months to 6 years old!!
