nashville maternity session by joy marie | Mindy + Phil

I LOVE this maternity session. Mostly because I love this couple! Mindy and Phil are also photographers (aka the talented Phindy Studios) that don’t take themselves too seriously and are SO much fun..if you happen to know them, you will agree this first image pretty much sums them up. It’s so fun to shoot creative people that completely trust me with their bare belly:)  I got to meet sweet baby Harry yesterday, and he is adorable and has the most hair (of course) I’ve ever seen on a newborn. I’m really happy for you guys and can already tell you are going to be amazing parents! xox

I feel terrible that I have neglected my Blog lately, but I finally had some really good down time this last month just being a mommy and enjoying my three (very active) boys. Now it’s time to do a little catching up.  First up…introducing sweet Baby Madison! I had been fortunate enough to shoot Madison’s Aunt Carla’s engagement session, and will be seeing the whole family again next month at Carla & Josh’s Cheekwood Wedding. They are such a wonderful family, and I had so much fun with this ADORABLE baby…she has the sweetest little personality and her rolls…LOVE the rolls!!! Thanks for sharing her, Kim!

Julie & Shervin didn’t want the traditional “engagement session,” which always makes me a happy girl:)Julie suggested Shervin’s parent’s pretty much demolished/soon-to-be-remodeled home, as well as the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. I love combining a little grit with a little glamour, and had so much fun with these two! I’m really looking foward to their Spring Wedding at the gorgeous Hotel Bel-Air!
