In honor of Valentine’s Day Weekend and all things LOVE, I’m so excited to share this wedding with you! I LOVE this couple, I LOVE all of the gorgeous details, but what really made this one of my favorite weddings…I LOVE this family so much! I first met Christie and her 4 beautiful sisters when I photographed her brother’s wedding 4 years ago. Secretly, I hoped to photograph at least one of Brian’s gorgeous sisters. Turns out this bride, Christie, is the owner of Christie Rose Events, and since then, I have worked alongside her and her sisters who are such amazing wedding planners! So you can imagine, this day was designed and planned flawlessly….tons of great details and meaningful touches. Christie and Chris got married at the Mission San Juan Capistrano and had their reception at the gorgeous St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort. These two are my ideal couple in so many ways, but mostly they planned plenty of time for photos and completely trusted me. In the end, such a spectacular day surrounded by incredible people with so many beautiful moments. Thank you Christie and Chris for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day. I’ve loved becoming friends with you, and I wish you a lifetime of love together!
I’m so excited to see Claude & Peter’s Turks & Caicos wedding featured in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Spring/Summer 2015 magazine! This was truly a magical celebration on a tropical island at Donna Karan’s private estate. I adore this crazy beautiful couple and couldn’t be happier for them. A big thank you to Grace Ormonde for this gorgeous feature! On news stands now!
Wow…where did this year go?? It’s already that time of year again, time to reflect on 2014…. a year that has left me incredibly grateful, but challenged me spiritually, physically and creatively. I haven’t even had a chance to blog all of the amazing weddings that I was able to photograph in 2014, so I hope to catch up on some posts over the upcoming weeks. This year, I lost two people that I loved deeply, my sweet Grammy and my beautiful cousin Mari. I had the privilege of saying goodbye to both and thanking them for filling a special space in my life. Mari had her dream wedding in St. John in April (first few images) and just a few months later, she lost her battle to brain cancer with her incredible new husband by her side (her story here). I’ve also included images of moments with loved ones that many of my clients lost this year. I tried to choose an image from each wedding we shot this last year that spoke to me and even included a few from our associate photographers. I am so humbled to make connections with my clients who then trust me to come into a very intimate space with each other and their loved ones. These moments will live on forever. To all of you who have lost a loved one this last year I wish you strength and love in 2015. To all of my clients and friends who made 2014 such an amazing year, a big heartfelt thank you! And to the clients and friends I’ll be working with in 2015…I can’t wait!!! xox
When it comes down to it, every wedding is about family coming together and celebrating love together. I love when destination weddings unite families with children, knowing that those kids lives are forever changed and improved by the coming together of their new family. This was the case with Bea & Phil, and Bea’s adorable daughters who stood at the altar by her side as they watched their mother marry Phil. The stunning and dramatic ceremony site at Bacara Resort NEVER disappoints, and Santa Barbara was the perfect destination for Bea’s Venezuelan family and Phil’s European friends and family to come together . Bea looked absolutely drop dead GORGEOUS in her Ines Di Santo gown, and Phil’s devoted, loving expression when she walked down the aisle as her girls cried tears of joy was so moving. There was so much love, beauty and tears of joy the entire weekend. Here’s a look back on this gorgeous couple and a few of my favorite moments!
Congratulations Bea and Phil…wishing you and your new family a wonderful journey ahead!!

There is so much I just LOVE about this wedding. First…I love this couple, Lauren and Jonathan. You may remember these two from our New York engagement shoot a few months back. They are both so kind, positive and incredibly in love with each other. The picture of them at the altar where Jonathan is just BEAMING says it all. I absolutely LOVED shooting at the Crane Estate in Massachusetts. I’m SO glad these two decided to see each other before to have time to take pictures around this awesome property. You would never know it from these images but we went into this day with pretty much 100% chance of rain. One of Lauren’s bridesmaids happened to be a meteorologist and even she couldn’t give us any hope. I was so sad for Lauren because I had scouted the property and knew there was so many incredible backdrops outside of the estate…especially the outdoor location of her ceremony. I have to say, Lauren handled all of this bad news like a champ. Seriously, she was the calmest bride ever and insisted even if they got rained out, it was going to be ok. Side note, she’s a critical care doctor in NYC so that might have something to do with her uber calmness throughout it all. Anyway, we pulled out the purple umbrellas and headed out to shoot, God smiled, the rains stopped and here’s a look at this beautiful couple and their incredible outdoor wedding at the Crane Estate!
