Trina & Dalip wanted to have their engagement shoot amongst trees, BIG trees! So…I made a litte trip up to the San Francisco area to meet up with them at the Muir Woods National Forest, and we found some REALLY big, AHmazing Redwood Trees! It was surreal shooting in a forest full of 500+ year-old trees. I love when couples come up with unique location ideas for their engagement session! These two also happen to be big time foodies, so we ended the day at Tyler Florence’s world-renowned restaurant, El Paseo, in the quaint little town of Mill Valley. It was a such great day with these two, and I’m super excited for their Spring wedding at the gorgeous Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma. Can’t wait, Trina & Dalip!..xo
When we were first discussing their destination wedding in Hilton Head, South Carolina, Katelyn & Evan said that they wanted to do something original & unique for their engagement shoot. Yes…please!!! Katelyn is a New Yorker, and Julliard-trained Ballerina, so her and Evan (actually it was Evan’s idea) wanted to incorporate her love and passion for dance into the shoot. These two are amazing people, and after seeing Katelyn in her “zone,” I was both awe-struck and inspired (and a tiny bit jealous). I wish I could be a professional ballerina…if only I had grace, elegance and poise! Here’s a little taste of what happened when that inspiration, Katelyn’s awesome talent, and the love these two share met my lens…I’m so excited for their May wedding next year in gorgeous South Carolina! Katelyn & Evan, thank you for trusting me enough to put on your pointe shoes and tutu:) I’m so looking forward to your big day…xo…joy
I have been SO looking forward to Nan & Victor’s summer wedding ever since their engagement shoot. They are such a sweet, funny and down to earth couple; completely in love and connected to each other. Nan & Victor also happened to have a super fun bridal party. The groomsmen are serious gamers and (what seemed to me to be) masters at Tae Kwon Do. They had very “unique” ideas for groomsmen photos. Love it!! Like most of my couples, Nan & Victor chose to see each other before the ceremony, and completely trusted me wherever I wanted to shoot. This makes for such a fun and stress-free day, and Victor still completely crumbled when he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle! It turned out to be just the perfect day at the gorgeous Terranea Resort overlooking the Pacific, beautifully designed & planned by Alicia Townsend of the amazing Details Details Weddings & Events! Nan & Victor…thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your incredible day, and for being so amazing! I know you two will enjoy a lifetime of a very special love, and I’m so happy for you! xox
What an amazing weekend with this gorgeous couple! Sarah & Jeff’s Orange County Wedding was deliciously spectacular…much more to share, but here’s a little taste…
Remember Maiko and Arthur from their Sonoma wedding at Kunde Family Estate & Winery? Well, they just had their second wedding at the beautiful Ayana resort! Their Bali Destination Wedding was one for the record books! Wow…there is just so much beauty to share from these two, and this incredible Indonesian celebration. Before I attempt to squeeze it all into one posting…a little preview of the gorgeous couple!
