I’ve had a few photographers & colleagues ask me what this feedjit thing is all about. It’s basically just a cool web gizmo that allows me to engage with my visitors & friends from around the world in real time. Love it!

We had such a fun time at the recent fashion shoot for Joah Love’s Fall 2010 Collection. I’m convinced that we used some of the most adorable kids on the planet, and the new collection is simply yummy! We’ve got a lot more to share about what’s happening with Joah Love, but in the meantime, David put together this little teaser video, so you can get a glimpse of the amazing time we had with these little ones! I’m convinced everyone in Nashville knows Bishop Joseph Walker and his beautiful wife, Dr. Stephaine Walker. The last time I photographed these two, the Blog post drew well over 200 comments!! I simply adore Meredith & Jeremy!!  I have been eagerly anticipating Meredith & Jeremy’s Chicago wedding ever since I met up with them for their engagement session. This day was so full laughter, tears and some SERIOUS Chicago-style celebrating! The ceremony was held at the magnificent St. Michael in Old Town Parish, followed by the reception at the grand Chicago Historical Society. Meredith & Jeremy- thanks for letting me share in such an amazing day!

The band, Standing Room Only, was absolutely amazing!!

And a big thank you to Marilyn Frisz of Honey Bee Weddings for doing a great job coordinating this beautiful day! The band, Standing Room Only, performed at the reception, and I’m telling you, they were PHENOMENAL!!

Kelly & Lowell’s Spanish Hills Country Club Wedding was definitely one for the memory books! It was a beautiful fairy tale wedding, complete with Kelly’s grand entrance via horse & carriage, and her “Marine in Shining Armour” awaiting his GORGEOUS bride! INCREDIBLE!! I’d been eagerly looking forward to this day since I connected with Kelly & Lowell a couple of months back for their Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session. From the first time we met, I could tell these two really had a spark for each other, as well as a spark for life; Lowell serving his country as a Marine & Officer, and Kelly doing volunteer work in third world countries. These two are just all around great people! Both come from kind & generous families, and that made the day all the more special! Congratulations, Kelly & Lowell, and thanks for having me be a part of such a wonderful occasion! I’m so excited for our “Day After Session!”

Shawn & Steve are such great people, and they also happen to be our neighbors and now friends. After a some stormy weather the week prior, it turned out to be just a gorgeous day for their Nashville wedding at Brentwood United Methodist Church. We started the day off in Downtown Nashville at the beautiful Hermitage Hotel, and then it was off to the church in Brentwood for an intimate ceremony, followed by an elegant reception at Mere Bulles. These two share such a special connection together that I’m positive a lifetime of happiness awaits them. Congratulations, Shawn & Steve…thanks for allowing me to be a part of such a sweet day!

I owe all of my INCREDIBLE clients, who I’ve photographed over the last few weeks, a huge thank you for your patience!  With so much traveling & shooting, I haven’t had as much time as usual in front of my computer. I’m even using two laptops now to try and keep up!!  So this is just a sneak peek of the adorable Brooke + Nathan from our Nashville engagement shoot a few weeks back.  More to come really really soon!! I’m super duper excited to announce the launch of joah love!!  As a mom of 3 boys, who also loves to shop…I found myself so uninspired  by the clothes that were available for my boys.  Just a year ago, one of my bestest friends, Ahyoung Kim (who just happens to be one of the most INCREDIBLE designers on the planet) and I decided to jump in feet first and do something about that!  We collaborated our passion for children & fashion and now I’m pinching myself as boutiques nationwide (like Planet Blue!) are now carrying joah love’s spring collection for boys and girls!  The heart of this project is our desire to make a difference by giving back to children all over the world who are suffering from extreme poverty and those who are victims of social injustice.  We are partnering up with some incredible organizations to donate a portion of our proceeds to tackle these problems.  So check out the joah love website, and please spread the love to all your friends with babies 6 months to 6 years old!!
