I was FINALLY able to pick up a copy of the most recent issue of Pacific Weddings. The last couple of months have really been a blur!! An image of one of my beautiful brides, Melorie, from her gorgeous Key West Wedding, won Pacific Wedding’s Look of Love Photo Contest. This image of Melorie apparently took the top prize out of thousands of entries, and received a full-page spread in the magazine…SO cool! Big thanks Pacific Weddings!!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or you’re waaayy removed from anything having to do with weddings, you probably know that Style Me Pretty is one of the nation’s premiere bridal inspiration blogs. I’m so honored that they just posted one of my Fall Weddings from the Ojai Valley Inn. I’ve done a few weddings at Ojai Valley Inn, but this wedding was magical, especially since it gave me the opportunity to work with one of my favorite wedding planners, Jill LaFleur! We received word this week that we made it into the Junebug Weddings Best from the Best 2009 Fashion Report! Here is what the wonderful ladies at Junebug (Blair, Kim & Christy) had to say about the report:

I want to give a big shout out of thanks Christy Weber, and the fabulous ladies at Junebug Weddings for today’s feature on ‘What Junebug Loves.’ I’m so glad they chose to feature Mike & Debra Davis, a Los Angeles wedding from last year, and two of my favorite people in the whole world! I always wondered if I was the only one who thought Mike’s boutonniere was OFF THE CHARTS amazing! I guess there are others out there who think so too! Thanks again, Junebug!

I want to send a big shout out of CONGRATULATIONS to Bishop Joseph Walker & Dr. Stephaine Hale whose Nashville wedding took place last Saturday! I know these two are rockstars in Nashville, but I didn’t realize their nuptials would hit the national spotlight, the New York Times, nonetheless! Although I didn’t shoot the wedding because of a previously booked destination wedding, I did have the opportunity to do their engagement session at a gorgeous estate in Brentwood! One of the images was posted on the New York Times website, along with a brief article about their Nashville wedding. Congratulations, Bishop & Stephaine!
