We received word this week that we made it into the Junebug Weddings Best from the Best 2009 Fashion Report! Here is what the wonderful ladies at Junebug (Blair, Kim & Christy) had to say about the report:

I want to give a big shout out of thanks Christy Weber, and the fabulous ladies at Junebug Weddings for today’s feature on ‘What Junebug Loves.’ I’m so glad they chose to feature Mike & Debra Davis, a Los Angeles wedding from last year, and two of my favorite people in the whole world! I always wondered if I was the only one who thought Mike’s boutonniere was OFF THE CHARTS amazing! I guess there are others out there who think so too! Thanks again, Junebug!
I want to send a big shout out of CONGRATULATIONS to Bishop Joseph Walker & Dr. Stephaine Hale whose Nashville wedding took place last Saturday! I know these two are rockstars in Nashville, but I didn’t realize their nuptials would hit the national spotlight, the New York Times, nonetheless! Although I didn’t shoot the wedding because of a previously booked destination wedding, I did have the opportunity to do their engagement session at a gorgeous estate in Brentwood! One of the images was posted on the New York Times website, along with a brief article about their Nashville wedding. Congratulations, Bishop & Stephaine!
I love junebug weddings! This wonderful team of ladies, Kim Bamberg, Blair deLaubenfels and Christy Weber, recently invited me to join their top-ten hot list of wedding photographers that will launch in June. I’m so humbled to be mentioned with such awesome talent! If you haven’t heard of junebug, you will. It’s one of the hottest blogs on the planet for the best the wedding industry has to offer. The Southern Weddings Daily Blog has a section called “Love This!” where they feature a favorite wedding image. I visited the site yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to see they were featuring a shot from Evelyn & Louis’ Rancho Las Lomas wedding a few weeks back. I love this shot too!
I received a beautiful end of the year gift today when I opened my mail, and there was the premiere issue of Southern Weddings Magazine. Lara Casey, and her wonderful team already run one of the most popular wedding Blogs in the wedding industry, and now they’ve outdone themselves with the new mag. I was so honored to learn that I’m featured in the magazine’s beautiful blooms feature. The picture was taken a few weeks back at Lisa & Tim’s Ojai Valley Inn wedding.
The gorgeous bouquet is by Holly Vesecky of Holly Flora. I’ve worked with Holly on a couple of weddings, and she is such an incredible artist!! I love love her creations…breathtaking. I’ve been following the Southern Weddings team every since they featured Emily & Tye’s wedding last summer. I’m so excited to see what 2009 has in store for all of us!
