I really wish I had documented my pregnancy experience with all of my boys…it’s such a beautiful time for a woman. Maybe that’s why I’m so passionate about capturing this special time for my clients. Bita & Shadi are GORGEOUS, and now the proud parents of sweet baby Asher. I recently photographed Asher’s Bris Ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel (he was a champ by the way). I’m thinking those are images we will keep private for their family, but wanted to share a sneak peek from their Los Angeles maternity session.  Stayed tuned for Asher’s debut from our newborn session! The pregnant woman embodies a powerful contrast that is so amazing to me. The strength and femininity of a mother carrying her delicate child.  Laura is such a beautiful mom. She is the reason I love photographing pregnant women and she completely trusted me to capture this incredible brief moment of her journey. I know she is going to be an amazing mommy and  I can’t wait to meet the sweet baby Kaia!

I completely ADORE my little sister, Kristi! She has been there for me for the births of all three of my boys, so I was SO excited when the timing worked out for me to be in Seattle with her for the birth of her third child, Rae Adele. It was such an incredible blessing for me to experience the miracle of life through someone I love so much. Kristi was a champ, and had Rae with no epidural or drugs. My brother-in-law Dustin  is an amazing dad and husband , and  could pretty much write the book,  “How to Support Your Wife Through Labor.”  We were all so emotional during Rae’s entrance into this world…me mostly because I knew the pain Kristi was experiencing and couldn’t help her. But Dustin said afterwards, “it is so beautiful to watch Kristi give her first act of sacrifice as a mother to our baby.”  It was intense and beautiful and quite possible the most precious images I’ve had the opportunity to capture. I always consider it an INCREDIBLE privilege when I get to travel life’s journey with my clients, and be a part of their intimate milestones.  Pregnancy is such a beautiful time, and I absolutely LOVE photographing it! It makes me even happier when that bump is the love product of one of MY couples (big smile). You may remember Evelyn & Louis from their Los Angeles engagement, or incredible Rancho Las Lomas wedding. Evelyn & Louis are so special to me. I love that they are so incredibly gorgeous, but they just don’t take themselves too seriously.  We had such a good time, and I’m super excited to meet their beautiful baby girl in a couple of weeks!!
